If you haven't heard Manu Chao before you are in for a fantastic surprise. Latin-punk-ska-reggae-folk-rock crossover, fuelled by inordinate amounts of Tequila and Marijuana.  It's seriously some of the most joyous music you will ever hear!

Me Gustas Tu is the most radio friendly track from the big album Proxima Estacion Esperanza, but if you really fancy hearing him at his best you should seek out Radio Bemba Sound System, the absolutely bonkers live album.

A quick word of warning though...  I've ended up returning my copy of Radio Bemba Sound System, due to the ridiculous copy protection that not only made it impossible to rip, but also stopped it playing at all on my high-end CD player (it plays fine on the crappy ghetto blaster in the kitchen).  That is a step too far.  You might want to think instead about buying it from allofmp3.com.  Not sure how I feel about recommending this for an artist I like as much as Manu Chao, but if the CD is broken I don't know what else to suggest.  Perhaps you could send him the difference between the CD purchase price and the allofmp3.com price direct via his myspace site?
